hi Chris,

I’m not on myspace, but i do use facebook, so if you have an account on there you can add me no problem.

It was sad to leave what was our home for 5 weeks – we met a lot of lovely people there. However its time to move on – we head to Japan on Sunday, but for now we are just hoping for some good weather so we can hit the beach for Christmas Day.

Will see you in the new year.

looks like your having a brill time out there is so sad to say goodbuy to your home in New Zeland where you have been for ages but at least you will be able go snow boarding. I Keep up to date with whats going on eitehr from the website or you dad. He came up on sunday to give christmas pressents and saw Grandad and Flo. Hopefully i will see you when you get back or ill speak on the phone.

By the way what is your email what you use for my space so i can add you can you send it throguh to my hotmail please which you will find above but ill give it you anyway burtonchris_22@hotmail.com

alll that is left for me to say is have a lovlely Christmas and a good new year

Hi Laura and Neil

We’ve enjoyed reading your very entertaining ‘blog’. It’s great to hear about all the places you’ve visited as it’s a reminder of our own trip to NZ 15 years ago. I don’t think we had to endure the same levels of rain you have encountered apart from at Fox Glacier were it really did rain. We had a trip out to the glacier one evening and the rain was so torrential it was ‘wild’ (to quote our guide.)

We were lucky when we went to Milford Sound as the weather was good – one of the few good days we were told. We flew back to Queenstown in a small twin prop plane. When we took off we headed directly for one of the mountains before veering away at what seemed the last minute! One of the most worrying moments in my life. We were lucky to get great views of the Remarkables as we flew back to Queenstown.

Hope you have a great time in the North Island.
